Private Blocks Land Fees
Minimum of two airfares and land fee's are required for trips to the private blocks.
$40 per person per night (booked) for people staying on the private land
(A party giving short notice of shortening their trip must pay for all the days booked and the airfare will increase by $60 per person)
A $400 deposit is required for a Roar booking (March-April-May), the deposit is required by the 30th November the year before and is NOT refundable.
A $300 deposit is required for confirmation of all other bookings on the private land for the rest of the year. Failure to pay a deposit by the agreed date will result in the loss of the booking. Deposits are refunded with 3 months prior notice of cancellation.
$20 per dog (maximum of 2 per party, must not be used for chasing deer and counts towards the total weight)
Boyd or Oamaru DOC
No deposit is require to book a trip to DOC land.
One way airfares to DOC land are 1/2 the quote airfares stated above.

Person's on their own-If we can fit you with other jobs (you need to be flexible with your times) $150 each way. If we are unable to fit you in with another job then a special flight is $200 each way.

Oamaru (DOC)
Ref U19 925 315
Provides access to the Kaimanawa Recreational hunting area. Land on the private Oamaru airstrip and cross the Oamaru River to a 12 bunk hut. A 15 minute walk. |

An excellent 16 bunk hut is available, and good fishing for Rainbow and Brown Trout |
Day Walks
Fly into the Boyd airstrip and walk to the Oamaru airstrip. Allow 5-6 hours for the walk. A very scenic walk through tussock valleys and beech forest.
What can I take in the aircraft.
Standard size soft dive bags, not the super long ones, take two standard size instead.
Packs without metal frames
No box wider than a banana box, anything wider can not be carried.
No chillybin larger than 50 litres will not be carried, bring two smaller bins instead of one big one.
 
Rifles should be in soft covers not hardcases.
We recommend that you bring a gas light for lighting, this reduces the risk of accidental fires in the huts.
We recommend you bring you own axe or bow saw, this will ensure its availability and sharpness!!
No Chainsaws, bring a bag of heat beads; they work well in the wood fires
